    Campus Safety

There is not a lot of crime that takes place on either campus, but there are officers that patrol every so often.

    Greek Life

    None.

    Clubs and Activities

There are clubs for students to participate in and the people within the clubs are friendly.

Great for these types of students

This college is great for students who want to earn a certificate, associates, or transfer to a university.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

There are two campus locations that are 35 minutes apart. The music and theatre classes now take place off campus which is close to the campus in Roxboro.

    Bang for the buck

Since I am not able to obtain financial aid, it is hard for me to pay for tuition upfront. With PCC they have a pay by the month option. Honestly without that I wouldn't be able to pay for the tuition and books. This is why I chose to enroll at PCC.

    What to do for fun

There are a few clubs that students can involve themselves in. Between classes my friends and I usually drive down the road to eat lunch.

    Food and Dining

The Roxboro campus has a grill where you can order food from a menu. It is decently priced and has pretty good food.

    Dorm Life

There is no place to live on campus.

    Academic Rigor

This community college is a good college to obtain your general education requirements.

    Tips for prospective students

Register early to make sure you get the classes and times you want, have an idea or goal that you want to obtain by the end of a certain time period, stay on top of your assignments, and apply yourself.

    In three sentences

The classes at Piedmont Community College are relatively small which allows one on one time with the students and their teachers. The friendly interactions between both students and teachers create a relaxing atmosphere which allows you to feel comfortable to freely ask questions within the class. This college is a great place to transfer from.

    Campus Safety

I've seen police officers parked in the parking lot every time i've been there.

    Clubs and Activities

    Decent selection

    Bang for the buck

Great college, just make sure if you are transferring that all of your classes are eligible to transfer as well.

    What to do for fun

School has a decent selection of clubs, aside from that the campus itself doesn't offer to much more for fun. You could always take a trip to the park nearby and play some tennis or walk the track. Aside from that, theres not much else to do.

    Food and Dining

If I had to describe the dining at PCC in one word, it would be meh. It's not terrible; it's not great. I would recommend just driving a few minutes away if you can and going to any other restaurant in Roxboro.

    Dorm Life

There are no dorms since it is a community college.

    Tips for prospective students

If you slacked off in high school or did not take your education seriously, (like I did) then I would definitely recommend you prove your worth and aim for a high GPA in this school. Don't be discouraged that you can't attend the 4 year university of your dreams upon graduating from high school but rather; make it your motivation to work that much harder and demonstrate that you do have what it takes to succeed not only in school, but in life as well.

    In three sentences

Piedmont Community College is definitely a great school to get you on the right track to transfer to a 4 year university.
