Pierce College goes by quarters and not semesters. Keep yourself up to date with all of your classes all the time. Missing just one class can throw you off greatly. Be very organized and don't be afraid to ask questions. All of the professors here really want to be here and want to answer your questions!

I would advise a perspective student to plan ahead and think about what they might be interested in doing after they graduate. Select a degree that will benefit their needs the most. I would also advise them not to take the easy way out, that they should work hard for their grades and not just wing it or skate by without pouting any effort into school.
