Around Town

Pierce's library is one of my favorite places to go when I am waiting for another class to start. It is peaceful, and I am able to work on homework.

The student office sets up alot of activities throughout the quarters, anything from movie nights to hiking at mount rainier.

The Student Life their throws an enormous amount of events. There is practically an event there once every day. They have family events, student development events, entertainment events, diversity events and recreational events!

Student Programs events, athletics, air hockey, ultimate frisbee, ping pong, root beer pong, singing songs in the hallways.

Student life always has workshops and activities to engage in both on and off campus. Example: Student education rally at the state capitol in Olympia, Seattle Seahawk football game, How to workshops, and many more.

The Office of Student Life is always advertising opportunities to get involved, and many events they host. I was thoroughly impressed with how much fun events they have every week in the College Center building.

Personally there isn't much that I hang around school for if it isn't studying but I have made some good friends while attending Pierce College.

Making new friends opens new doors. College is an opportunity to grow personally and academically.

Lots of outdoor stuff to do on and off campus.

For fun there are a variety of things to do. Pierce College is surrounded by trees and in the summer students gather to play frisbee in the green grass. A pool table is also available to share time with friends in the cafeteria. Last of all, there are many clubs and opportunities to have in impact of other students lives.
