Go to the beach, watch the sunset, play basketball, sand volleyball, play the piano. There is always something to do. :)

Go to the beach!! Roam Ocean Beach, and go to Hodad's. Go to the mall and shop till you drop. Go to near-by thrift stores. Go to Balboa park and go to some museums. Go downtown and then head over to Seaport village.

The ocean is literally my backyard, so that is the number one best thing to do for fun at Point Loma. Throw on a bathing suit and head down the cliffs to get some sun and enjoy the surf. There are also so many different clubs and events to get involved with weekly that is impossible not to find something you love.

Thursdays through Sundays Point Loma provides a shuttle to take students off campus and to a variety of different places. It offers students a chance to get off campus and into the streets and businesses of San Diego. On days when the shuttle doesn't run, students can simply call a cab or have a friend drive them the 15 minutes into downtown San Diego. Many students also tend to hang out at local Mexican restaurants for midnight burrito runs and other such foods.

Walk down to the beach to study or hangout. There are so many things to do in San Diego it would take too long to list them all.

You are walking distance from the ocean! The weather is always lovely so you can walk to the beach, walk to get the famous Acai Bowls of San Diego, or even rent a surf board from the Activites Room, if you don't have one, and go surfing.

Point Loma Nazarene University is literally the college by the beach! With the beach only a walk away, students can often be found hanging out at the beach or spending their day surfing. Also not very far away from downtown San Diego, PLNU is a perfect distance between the city and the ocean.

Obviously, the main thing to do for fun is go to the beach! Students have the choice of surfing at the famous surf spot, Sunset Cliffs, or of surfing at Ocean Beach located three miles down from campus. If you are not a surfer, you can still enjoy Sunset Cliffs to swim in! Also, Point Loma is located by tons of other beaches, such as Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla, and Pacific Beach, so students enjoy exploring all of the different beaches. Besides beaching it, Point Loma is located five miles from the gaslamp district which offers amazing night life, malls, restaurants, and other city- life activities. Finally, San Diego also has artsy/ hippy areas that make it fun for the students who want culture.
