Attending class downtown certainly opens up the door for many different activities over the school year. For instance, in winter there is ice skating available in the PPG place around the Christmas tree put up for the holiday season. However, in the summer months you can go down to the Point where the Three Rivers come together and enough a wonderful park near the water. In your free time between classes there is a Student Activities building that has a gym, a pool, dance classes, pool tables, foosball tables, ping-pong, ect. which available to all students any time they want!

Being in downtown Pittsburgh, there is a lot to do for fun. Point Park is located right near the cultural district so there are always options to go see shows. Also within walking distance is the home locations for the Pirates, Steelers, and the Penguins!

There are occasional sports events and campus activities but in general people leave this campus and go into more exciting areas of the city, Oakland or Shadyside, and onto the campuses of other schools in the city. Downtown and the majority of its establishments shut down around five o'clock. The true cultural center is where all the other colleges are in this city.

The campus is a city campus. It is in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh so there is always tons of stuff to do! You can walk down the main street and in just five minutes your at one of the best theatre's in American watching award winning play or musicals. Or you can sit in Market Square on those lovely days with friends and watch the city around you. Pittsburgh is a great city to walk around in there are many bridges that you can walk across to take you anywhere! You can take the Smithfield bridge right over to Station Square and enjoy a wonderful dinner night out with friends or go up to the lookout and see the beautiful downtown Pittsburgh skyline lit up at night. There are endless opportunities for fun in Pittsburgh from Mount Washington's spectacular views of the city, to Point State Park where the three rivers meet! The best thing about it is all these places are just 5 minute walks from campus and the dorm buidlings!

The city has all of these different places to go and explore, and also there are a bunch of events that the school holds throughout the campus and the city.
