» Read MoreThere are a lot of fun things to do, most of which involve something off campus. Res life does host a lot of fun events, ie ice skating, broadway shows, etc. It's New York City thought! There are a million things to do, especially in Brooklyn. The new Barclays center where you can watch the nets play and tons of concerts is within walking distance from campus. Also NYU main campus which is a 10-15 minute train ride away has a lot to do.

» Read MoreNOTHING. Since there's no rating section I can justify a story here; there's a long running joke on my floor that poly is like having mono. No girls talk to you and you're always tired. If you want to have a lot of fun you need to make a LOT of friends at NYU if you would want to end up in manhattan more. Otherwise being cheap will set in and you will have such little motivation to try and justify the $4.50 round trip sub fare. Most of the commuters you meet come from Queens, which by the way is hard to get to.
