Rock Climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and much more are offered through the college and the town is a perfect fit.

Talk to people, there will always be activities happening. House shows, hooping get-togethers, bonfires, snowball fights, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, etc.

Climbing, bars, really there's always something going on and someone going somewhere on an adventure. Plus, if you're a drinker, mainstreet is called Whiskey Row.

The possibilities are endless. In my week stay, I managed to fit in rock climbing twice, bouldering, lots of hiking, and kayaking. There are plenty of get-togethers at night, including house shows. Donna's is always a good time and Whiskey Row is a blast. Plus, you're only a few hours away from the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Phoenix, and Flagstaff.

Once again; depends on the program. I might consider rock-climbing or kayaking to relax, but the Outdoor Education students have to do it for a grade. Bike paths and great hiking outside of town. Some bars in town, but not much of a nightlife. Two other colleges in town provide for a lot of student mixing.
