As a freshmen, I was worried about the transition - Don't be. Providence makes everything as easy as it can be, and there are plenty of resources (Orientation Leaders, Resident Assistants, ect) that are able to help you. There are plenty of activities on weekends and weeknights, such as trivia nights, bingo (it's a lot more intense than you think... and for prizes!), and group trips to popular restaurants such as the Cheesecake Factory. The college is in an excellent location, and the school itself is beautiful with diverse, interesting students. The Slavin Center is brand new and features a gorgeous gym that overlooks the lawn, as well as the P.C Perk, a hangout spot where you can grab a coffee and relax with friends. read full review
