“The dorms are so much fun to live in. The only issue that most of the students at Providence College have with the dorms is the parietal policy. This means…”

“there are a great deal of socializing in the dorms. the people are welcoming at providence college. i found that the adjustment to dorm life was hard but very worthwhile.…”
“All freshmen get the traditional dorm experience. Relatively small space and the only thing supplied is the furniture and the lights. Once you become a sophomore, you have a choice…”
The food at the main cafeteria is pretty hit or miss. The staff is great, but I just wish I could say the same about the food. Their are little options.
» Read MoreThe food here is great
» Read MoreThe food is a lot better than most schools. Always a lot of variety and the dining staff try to make things fun with cupcake bars, grilled cheese stations, brunches till 1:45 on the weekends, etc.
» Read MoreSince I was a freshman in 2009, food services have improved considerably. The traditional, buffet style dining hall offers rotating meals at several stations, along with always having the staples such as grilled cheese, grilled chicken, hamburgers w/fries, create-your-own pasta dish, and sandwiches. Soy milk is readily available, and the coffee and tea stations are very good. Yes, there are to-go cups. If you have very little time between classes, you can elect to get a pre-made to-go meal instead of going into the dining hall. Regarding the a la carte dining hall, stations include: grill, Mexican cuisine, pizza, sandwiches, and sushi. As of this fall, Dunkin' Donuts has arrived on-campus!
» Read MoreThe food is definitely better than the high school cafeteria. There are two cafeterias on campus. Between the two, there's a lot of choices.
» Read MoreI love the food there, honestly. I am a super picky eater and this is one of the reasons I chose PC. There are two dining halls, and most of your meals you will eat in Ray. Ray is a buffett with fresh cooked food like pasta, mashed potatoes, grilled cheese, chicken, french fries, pizza and handmade sandwiches. Every day the main corse changes but the staple foods (cereal, salad bar, ice-cream machine, chicken pasta, etc.) stay the same. There is always plenty to eat and THE BEST DESERTS!!
» Read MoreFood and Dining at Providence is convenient. I would not rate this very high. It is satisfactory. Not great, but not horrible. I was always able to find something to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I just wished there was more variety of better quality food.
» Read MoreCampus dining has its bad days but there is always something better i you Are willing to pay a little extra. Plus places deliver until 4 am so that's a big bonus.
» Read MoreThe Cafeteria is a good social scene and hangout spot. the food is nothing like mom's but you will go back to your room feeling full and happy. I would recommend the cafe's on campus, they put much more love into their dishes and you can definitely taste the difference!
» Read MoreRaymond Hall (the main cafeteria) has a little something for everyone. Some days are amazing, other days you feel like there was no point in coming. Raymond Hall uses a swipe system where, depending on your meal plan, you get a certain number of swipes a week in order to eat. It's all you can eat when you do choose to go. Not the best place to study, but if you're looking for a place to eat and can hang out with your friends for a little bit as a study break or to go in between classes. There is also PC Perk (soon to be an on campus Dunkin' Donuts). Coffee shop that is open till 10:00 p.m. every day during the weekdays. you can also get a quick lunch/dinner from here. They have very good panini's. You have to pay (either by cash, credit or by money given to you from your meal plan). This is a great place to study. Alumni Food Court is open all day everyday (till 2:00 a.m.). It also makes you pay by cash, credit or by meal plan bucks, but it is soooooo worth it. This is people's favorite place to eat because they have a wide selection of food and it is really good. The atmosphere is very calm and gives you a feeling of home. People go there to eat and study.
