Purdue is also located near a bigger city, so you are close enough to go to the movies or bowling alley with friends. Since it is a big campus there are always events or parties to attend on the weekends. If you are involved with the Greek Life, or have friends who are, they almost always have functions going on. We also have a lot of big name artists play at Purdue every year and the tickets are reasonably priced for students. Big Ten sporting events are always fun to attend too, but unfortunately tickets are not free to students at Purdue. The best option if you are a big sports fan is to purchase a VIP pass that will get you into every game for every sport, but they sell out fast!
