When you are living in the dorms they provide you with a lot of options for things to do. You can use your student ID to rent just about anything from the front desk, which includes equipment for the pool tables and ping pong tables as well as a ton of movies. Purdue is also located near a bigger city, so you are close enough to go to the movies or bowling alley with friends. Since it is a big campus there are always events or parties to attend on the weekends. If you are involved with the Greek Life, or have friends who are, they almost always have functions going on. We also have a lot of big name artists play at Purdue every year and the tickets are reasonably priced for students. Big Ten sporting events are always fun to attend too, but unfortunately tickets are not free to students at Purdue. The best option if you are a big sports fan is to purchase a VIP pass that will get you into every game for every sport, but they sell out fast!

There are always loads of parties, dorm activities, organizations to join, and concerts going on during weekends, and lots of cool stuff happening in downtown Lafayette, just over the river from campus.

Purdue has many options for fun. There are frequent concerts and plays being held in different auditoriums on campus. We've got a very vast amount of different clubs and groups on campus. There is also a movie theater close by and a lot of different places to spend time with friends. It's a beautiful place with never ending opportunities.

There are plenty of fun activities to do around campus. In addition to intramural sports, and sporting events, there are plenty of clubs to participate in as well. Also, fountain runs and den pop runs also never fail.

There are so many clubs to choose from, like swing dancing, big brother/big sister, and shooting clubs. Also, there is a great new gym that the campus just opened.

Extracurricular activities like intramural sports. Purdue football, basketball, and baseball Div. 1 games. Fun to watch! Like coffee shops? Try Grey house or Vienna Cafe. The Purdue Memorial Union Bowling alley. Here are Purdue websites to get involved and have fun while at Purdue: http://www.getinvolved.purdue.edu/ http://www.purdue.edu/recsports/ http://www.purdue.edu/recsports/programs/aquatics/index.php http://www.purduegolf.com/ http://www.homeofpurdue.com/ https://calendar.purdue.edu/

Karaoke! It sounds weird but it's super fun. Get involved with campus groups. The town doesn't have much to offer, but getting involved in service or other organizations makes the experience a lot better. Purdue has lots of campus groups to get involved in.
