Around Town

The school is located directly in downtown Charlotte, which is a big city with movie theaters, malls (the most popular is Concord Mills), hair salons, downtown shops, and the like located all over the city. There is also a shuttle to bring students to and fro Charlotte. Also, there are tons of campus activities.

Intramural's are extremely fun at Queens along with going out to the CUB events. Many people join Greek Life, which creates bonds as sisters and brothers for life. There are movies shown weekly and you can also find a friend to travel off-campus to Amelie's and grab some french pastries!

There are Sunday Funday's one Sunday a month during the fall and spring so students can hang outside, grill hotdogs and hamburgers for the day. There are also movie nights on Friday's where Queen's has a huge screen that students can watch at night. Also throughout the year there are many fun get together and activities held for students to get to know each other.

Join a club or organization! The best way to have fun is by staying involved. Trying new activities with friends is the best way to bond. Plus, Queens is about 3 miles from uptown Charlotte, which offers many restaurants, shopping areas, bars, and much more. It is a great and modern city to explore.

you can literally walk downtown and there is so much to do there, movies that have full meals, bowling, many clubs, and restaurants. and there is a park not too far from school that is beautiful in the fall and spring.

I had a lot more fun first semester of my freshmen year but that was because I did not get a lot of work done. For fun, I do like to go out with friends to the club or play sports outside. There are also other on campus activities that go on.
