For fun we go into New Haven and go to the clubs or restaurants. There are also dorm parties that are always a good time. I am in a sorority which opened up a wide range of things that can be do for fun. However, not being involved in Greek Life does not hinder your social life. There are so many Quinnipiac sponsored event to attend.

Shuttles are constantly running in to Hamden and also in to New Haven. Many weekends students occupy their nights with attending our #1 ranked hockey team in the nation.

Quinnipiac is at the foot of a mountain and state park, The Sleeping Giant. The town of Hamden surrounds the university and it is home to various shops, restaurants, and recreational venues. Students often dash over to the city of New Haven for the nightlife. New Haven is home to many of the bars, clubs, and restaurants that students frequent. The school provides a free shuttle to and from the town of Hamden and the city of New Haven which is a huge plus.

Campus life has evolved since I attended the university. Round Top which sits atop a hill across the street from the main campus is the newest addition to the university. It has five new dorm buildings, student life center and a fabulous basketball and ice hockey arena. Additionally, there are tons of clubs to partake in. Mine was the College Republicans which was in its infancy while I attended.

There are plenty of different organizations (dancing, film, theater). The student programming board works hard to give the student events. As a student you can also go clubbing off campus (the clubs are accessible).

Quinnipiac offers many on campus entertainment options for students. The student programming board does a wonderful job listening to what the students want to see/do on campus and goes above and beyond to bring fun entertainment to campus. Their are all many options for students off campus that they can take the shuttles too such as dining, shopping and recreation.
