Intramural sports and various on-campus events are great ways for Ramapo students to interact with one another and take opportunity to develop long-lasting friendships. Off-campus activities include shopping at Garden State Plaza, Paramus Park Mall, and the Outlets at Bergen Town Center in Paramus, NJ, and the many shops, eateries, and attractions at the Palisades Center in nearby West Nyack, NY. Because the college is conveniently located 30 minutes away from Manhattan in Mahwah, NJ, many Ramapo students travel into New York City to visit the Empire State Building, art galleries, and other attractions the Big Apple is known for. Hiking, mountain climbing, and other outdoor activities abound at the nearby Ramapo Reservation, directly across Route 202 from the College.

There is much to do for fun, especially in the Bradley Center which is open to the student body for use of the auxiliary gym, swimming pool, rock wall, weight room, and dance rooms. In J.Lee's located on campus, students can play pool, ping pong, as well as many choices to any Play Station 3, X-Box 360, and Wii games. Students can also purchase tickets to watch on campus shows, or even off campus shows with transportation available.

Ramapo College of New Jersey has all students create a Ramapo e-mail address where constant reminders are sent to students about what events are taking place on campus. Also, the bulletin boards in each residence halls are always being updated to let residents know what events are coming up and where. Octoberfest is a huge on campus event around Halloween where there is free food, games, shirts, and events that Ramapo students can take part in. Overall, there are always events going on at RCNJ no matter how big or small!

There's a shuttle that'll take you different places, including even Palisades Mall. There's lots of activities going on here. I haven't gotten to witness it, but this spring, a great concert is coming up. Last year, they had The Maine, We the Kings, and Mayday Parade. Octoberfest looked like a lot of fun, too.

There are always activities, plays and parties from time to time. Supporting all of our sports teams is my favorite thing to do. All the games/matches are so exciting.
