Around Town

There are always various sports games going on on campus. Not to mention, there are many clubs that can appeal to an assortment of students.

It's really easy to have fun on campus; sometimes, it's a little too easy.

There is a new student recreation center being built that includes a lot of cool things

The school offers many oppurtunities for students to have fun including intramurals, greek life, and sometimes trips to locations such as ski resorts for a reduced price. Any time of the year ther is something for someone to do on campus.

To be honest, there isn't all that much around to do. However, off campus, there is a skating rink, and shopping within a reasonable driving distance. The campus events committee works hard to bring entertainment on campus.

Weekend parties and sports events are probably the most popular activities on campus, for people who don't enjoy these things there are not many options. Off-campus, the closes activities to do are probably located about 20 minutes away and are mostly things like shopping and the cinema.

Very little in Ashland itself, but Charlottesville is only an hour away and that is the gateway to hiking, rafting, camping, and skiing.

There are parties to go to and friends to hang out with. Also there is lots of groups and organizations to join that always have something to do.

Football games and tailgating; lots of clubs and Richmond is not that far away and there is plenty to do there!
