Categories Comments Great for these types of students undecided majors- get universal core credits while trying to decide, ag majors- great ag programs and a completely functional ag campus with a horse ranch, vinyard, and goat farm, students who can't afford four years at a larger university, students who want smaller classes and one-on-one attention
Tips for prospective students If you have a chance, take the ACT. If not, take placement tests early so the material, like math, is still on your mind. Clep tests are also good ways of saving money. I clepped out of college algebra for $72, instead of paying $288 to take the class plus the cost of the book.
Bang for the buck One credit hour at Redlands costs $96, while OU can run upwards of $300. Considering two years of Redlands credits will transfer to OU its a great way to get your gen. eds. for less!
Am enjoying being here Cougar Crossing, the on-campus apartments, are amazingly spacious for dorms. Everyone living here gets there own bedroom. Security is constantly available so there is no need to worry about any kind of criminal activity. Both the school and the apartments have great activities to bring students together and they are always FREE, which is great for college kids. Even the bookstore staff, is willing to help as best as they can with anything you may need.
Am learning a lot The classes at Redlands are great and the professors are always willing to help, whether you are behind or just have some questions about finals. Another plus is that the credits transfer to almost every college in the state.

Categories Comments Tips for prospective students Don't be afraid to eat in the cafeteria because the food is incredible! Plus, its all cheap!
Am enjoying being here The atmosphere is fun and easy going. There are always fun activities going on such as movie nights and even magic shows!
Am learning a lot Redlands is a small school, which means classes are small as well. This makes it great because you can more easily create relationships with students and especially professors. The professors are all very willing to help you with everything and it is so apparent that they all want you to do well in school!

Categories Comments Campus Safety Door on my daughters apartment showed signs of the lock being broke at one time and glued back together-did not leave a good impression.
Clubs and Activities maybe in fall but dead in summer
Great for these types of students Ones who like to get taken advantage of and pushed around.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Nothing--run away from this school!!!
Bang for the buck They took out all of the money from my daughter's financial aide for room, fees, classes and left her with 300 for 2 months. Didn't pay her the rest till last week of school. I had to buy her food and transportation needs and all else. School would not help with temp loan on financial aid like I had experience with such help at other institutions that care about their students well fare--terrible, terrible!!
What to do for fun Every time my daughter tried to use apartment workout room it was locked, no one to call. The swimming pool was open but for the summer - nothing.
Food and Dining Limited
Dorm Life My daughter moved into an apartment, after viewing a nice example one, that had a horrid cockroach problem. No one she called would help! When the apartments wanted to move her into a temp apartment so they could paint for income fall students, they gave her keys to an apartment with dirty rug, dead bugs, heavy smell of smoke, dirty frig and stove. When we complained they said It's only for one or 2 days - had to get mad and insist on a clean temp apartment - horrid experience!!
Academic Rigor Nothing Special
Tips for prospective students Run Away!!!
In three sentences Terrible, doesn't care about students, nasty dirty apartments - DONT go here!!!

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Working adults
Bang for the buck Redlands is getting pretty expensive I'm taking two classes/9 hours and my bill was around $1,600.00 my books were around $500. They are almost as much as a four year institution.
What to do for fun Have good gym and work out facilities.
Food and Dining I go to school at night/online
Dorm Life two year college I don't even think they have dorms??
Tips for prospective students Classes fill up fast, try to get in the classes you want as early as possible.
In three sentences Redlands has great online course selection, small classes, and night classes to make it easier for working adults to attend school.

Categories Comments Campus Safety The campus is always clean! The students have to have ids to get into certain rooms! This helps to keep outsiders from coming in and breaking laws!
Great for these types of students Any student who wants a degree in anything should attend Redlands! This school is a great school especially for those of you who have been out of school for a few years and would like to go back!
Bang for the buck Redlands Community College has the most respectful people that I have ever met! From the staff to the students! Someone is always willing to lend a hand when you need one!
What to do for fun For fun I like to go to the Redlands basketball games! Everyday is a fun day at Redlands. The teaches make the learning fun and interesting!
Food and Dining There is no food at Redlands that im aware of unless you want something out of the vending machine! However there is a bible study up there for religious people to come together and eat lunch.
Dorm Life I don't live in a dorm however I have a few friends who do! The dorms always have security and no parties are allowed so it helps the students actually focus more on school!
Academic Rigor The Academics are really good at Redlands. The teacher make you understand just what is being taught!
In three sentences Redlands is an awesome school to attend! I would give Redlands a rating on a scale of 1 to 10 a rating of 10! They are always willing to help their students improve!
