    There are many different events going on at the squad of Rhode Island College that are fun to go to. I believe that is the students choice to have a good time. There are zumba classes, yoga classes, the pool, the gym, and much more places inside campus to have fun while getting fit.

    Dowtown providence is only about a ten minute car drive. Thayer Street is a street with stores, resturants, and fun places where all college kids from providence go. There is also the Providence place mall.

    The dorms have event about once a week to try to get us to have fun. they have had caramel apple making, gingerbread house making, ice skating, and many more event.

    Rhode Island College throws some okay events, grab a couple of friends and go to the student union to one of Programing's many events. Other then that, going out to eat, bowling, the mall, and even the club on Thursday nights.

    RIC is only a short 10-15 minute drive (if that) away from a huge shopping mall containing 3 stories of shops, restaurants and an IMAX theater. Not to mention that because of the number of colleges/universities in proximity to Providence a lot of the local places offer student discounts with an ID.
