Around Town

Memphis is a big place and this campus is really little, getting off campus to do things is necessary! There are so many things to do for fun around here. The Memphis Zoo is literally across the street and is free on Tuesdays. The Brooks Museum is a great afternoon visit, and the food around here is legendary. There are great music scenes and so many volunteer opportunities. There are also a lot of really great on-campus groups and clubs to be a part of that if you are bored here, it is nobody's fault but your own!

Plenty on and off campus! There is always something on campus but if you want to get off campus there is the entire city of Memphis right at your doorstep!

There's some stuff to do on campus, like going to football games and getting involved in intramural sports and other organizations, but the benefit of Rhodes is having all of Memphis at your disposal. There's a lot of great local restaurants to eat out at with friends, local movie theaters, and going to memphis games to name a few things.

Haha well the majority of people consider partying and drinking fun, but there are just groups of people who hangout, play games and watch movies.

For fun, most people hang out in the library for hours on end or party it up on campus (go greek).

When students have the chance to escape from their studies, there are many activities students can participate in. Rhodes has many sports activities every weekend for students to go support, and the school holds many small concerts and dance events as well. Over half the campus is involved in Greek Life, but there are also many restaurants and locations to explore and visit in the great city of Memphis.
