Having only finished my freshmen year, I have only learned what Ringling taught me for their 1st year CORE Studio program, which is drawing (still lifes, etc), figure drawing, 3D studio, 2D art, color, history, and others based on your major. Mine was Traditional Animation and History of Animation because I'm a Computer Animation major. BTW, Ringling is generally referred to as the best art school in the country and has the world's best animation program, according to 3D magazine.

Ringling is like a second home to me, I have never found people who are so accepting and welcoming to people from different walks of life. Students are so diverse and everyone is thought of as a friend.

This school has many fun, time consuming classes with friendly students. The staff and students here always like to answer questions and help whenever asked. Classes get tough, but they help prepare students well to get a job.

It is a good school academically. Socially though, it is very reserved and there is not much to do around the city besides the beach and some shopping. It is definitely a quiet school but very artistically challenging.

Ringling College of Art and Design seems like a great school. Everything the school has to offer seems so neat. I hope after I get out of Community College that I someday attend this College.

The school campus is a beautiful place. The workload depends on the majors. It is well worth the cost.

Ringling has a beautiful campus. It's very easy to fit in with other students. If you don't work hard, don't expect to make good grades.

You have a lot of resources within your reach here. It's painstaking work, but the pay off in progress for a dedicated student makes it worth it. If you aren't ready to push yourself or you need a significant social life, don't go here.
