What to do for fun Not much really, i'm not a party girl. I do hang out with friends, go to dinner and movie, but nothing serious. I'm very laid back.
Food and Dining No Food and Dining, its a community college.
Dorm Life No dorm life, it's an community in which you have to commute daily.
Academic Rigor In any school setting academic is important and River Parish Community College holds that same integrity.
Tips for prospective students Just because the school is smaller, doesn't mean that you should BS and not do your work or study for test. River Parishes Community College is equally as challenging as other universities.
In three sentences I choose a smaller setting with fewer students, hands on resources and a professor who could better equip me. Thrilled with my decision, it has allowed me to become more focused and determine to succeed in all avenues of my higher education. This new school year I plan to achieve a 4.0 GPA, something I have always aspired for throughout in my college career.
