It is not nearly as expensive as a University, but books are highly priced, and you will barley get anything back for them once you sell them.

» Read MoreRiverland Community College has been the start to many life-changing events for me. It has opened a whole new world of opportunities for me. I have met so many other students here who are just like me and many who are wonderfully diverse. Riverland has students that are still in high school as well as some who are of retirement age and the diversity continues from there. I would highly recommend Riverland for anyone who is looking for something other than the traditional college setting with the same academic requirements.
» Read MoreRiverland Community College is a relatively inexpensive college to attend (considering the recent and immensely painful inflation on college rates). To offset this expense, knowing that many of the students are already financially strapped, the staff often surprises students with free treats and meals throughout the days and weeks. Computers are always available at the campus and printing is included in the cost of tuition! There is also free tutoring offered upon request at all of the campuses. The tutors are passionate about helping others succeed in their academic goals making it easier for students to go out and make the money they have always wanted to make in the profession that they have always wanted to be in.
