Around Town

There is never a dull moment at Riv. If there is not a planned activity going on we will make something up to do. The boys are always playing football in the quad or volleyball on Riv beach. There are constantly trips and activities being help by SPB and SGA that are always fun and something to do. We also have school dances and movie nights and trips to New york or Boston.

Lots of events on campus and the athletics are enjoyable as well.

Nashua has a mall, a nice downtown and various things to do like bowling and a movie theater. There is also an indoor sky diving and rock climbing place only a few miles away. It is an hour away from beaches, Boston and mountains.

Rivier always has a list of events for us to participate in for the month.

The Pheasant Lane Mall and surrounding shopping district provides a lively entertainment area for students to explore. This is a very lively neighborhood outside of the campus, however, the campus itself is a cozy, safe environment with a range of activities planned by students and faculty.

The Student Programming Board is always planning events such as hypnotists, comedians, pizza nights, movie nights, dances, and more. In Nashua there is a mall about 5-10 minutes away plus an entire highway strip full of stores and restaurants.

There are a number of things to do in the Nashua area including museums, country clubs, hiking trials, restaurants, arcades and bowling!

There are various activities that one can engage in. For starters, there are many dvds availabe for viewing by way of renting them from the library. Sports games are held at the college for spectators. Rivier has a gym for exercising, a volleyball net set up out side the gym, and the university also has student organizations in place, so that one may attend various activities or functions held at the university.

Located near Malls, Movies and restaurants. There is always something to do. The new Merrimack Outlets just opened too!!

Rivier has a fitness center with a weight room and treadmills. No pool though :( The library is a great place to study, go on computers, or just hang out with your friends. Nashua, where Rivier is located, is a great town with lots to do. Plenty of restaurants, stores, a mall, a stadium, and even an indoor skydiving place! The beach is about an hour away and mountains are about two hours away. Rivier also has some late night fun things like ceramic nights and Friday night movie showings.
