What you get is what you take out. If you think this school will hand you your money's worth of education and entertainment then you are wrong. You have to go out and find your own way to keep yourself satisfied. As long as you put in the effort to get involved and have some fun then you should be mostly satisfied with the money you're putting out to stay here.

Roanoke is a private liberal arts college therefor they give many scholarships to upcoming freshman

The school is expensive, however with our great alumni program and the lovely women at career services, it's not hard to find a job on or off campus once you graduate. My education in my major feels up to standards.

You can get an awesome resume put together if you get involved, but you can also slip through the cracks and come out with nothing

So many perks here since it's a small college-- First off, there's free peer tutoring. Second, we're pretty intertwined with the Salem community. Third, there's tons of free events hosted by the Campus Activities Board. Fourth and most important is the availability of professors.
