There's events and clubs very regularly on campus. You can watch the sports teams play too. I enjoyed going to the CAB movie nights - they show a movie on a huge projection screen in one of the auditoriums every Thursday night. It's a lot of fun to go get some food on campus, then see a move with friends.

There are a ton of clubs dedicated to niche interest and being nerdy. I personally love Electronic Gaming Society. As far as off campus, there's a downtown scene but I haven't personally explored it. RIT also hosts some pretty cool events such as Imagine RIT, and Brick City. There's a new division 1 hockey rink opening in Fall 2014, which I'm personally dying for. The College Activities Board is also dead-set on hosting activities that get students to socialize and have fun.

There is always something happening on this campus. Whether it is a movie in the main auditorium, an outing event put on by the activity board, or various other events hosted by many different campus organizations, you can almost always find something to do at any given time.

RIT always has activities and events held on campus for its students (Homecoming, Imagine RIT, FreezeFest are some of the bigger ones). If for some reason something on campus didn't interest you, there is plenty to do locally and in the city!

There is always something to do on weekends, between parties at the several apartment complexes that are within walking distance to campus or the bars that are relatively close-by. There is also a bus that takes students downtown to bars on Saturday nights. Other than the partying scene, I would say that clubs and sports are fun. There are also a lot of events on campus, so keep an eye out for those.

Join a club! There are so many. If that doesn't interest you, join a sports team or hang out with friends, people are always looking to hang out.

Student Government and the College Activities Board (CAB) host a plethora of events that you can attend for fun. The fraternities and sororities also host many events. There are parties to attend if that is your thing. There is a mall just down the road for all of the shopaholics. And town is about a 10-15 minute drive so there is plenty to do there. There are plenty of sporting events to attend. And the school hosts concerts and comedians throughout the year.
