Around Town

There are lots of parks in the area, a mall not far away, and lots of other places to shop.

So many student led activities, student groups and organizations to join. Of course, you should get involved in these activities. Being involved around campus will enhance your experience at RVC and, who wants to ONLY go to classes?

I don't have time for fun right now

There are lists of clubs and activities along with the physical education center and it's gym access to students. If you're into anime, science, or history, there are clubs for those and much much more!

There are plenty of things to do for fun around Rockford. Things like bowling, movies, volunteering, ice-skating, attending sports games like hockey, etc.

As stated in a previous section, I'm an extremely busy person. I'm more of an all business, not so much play. However, there are many things to do for fun in the area. These things range from theatrical experiences to stock car racing, to mini putting, to laser tag, to movies, to museums. Rockford is a large area with many opportunities.

I spend time with my great friends. I like going to country music events. I enjoy being on a boat or tubing on the river.

There's really nothing going on outside of campus, but there are some great clubs on campus to join and meet like minded individuals
