There are many different things you can do for fun. There are many events like bowling night, movie night, major/concentration based night lectures, basketball games, plays and performances, different clubs and shopping centers in the downtown area, and all sorts of things that are going on in the city and on campus.

The location is in the midst of all the downtown bustle. There is plenty of entertainment around, but you must have at least $25 to spend whenever you go out

Chicago has everything; however, there are many student-led activities. And the Auditorium Theater is part of one of the buildings we're in on the Michigan Ave. side. There are concerts all week long. And the campus is in the middle of downtown, where everything happens. Whether they want a club, to skate, bowl, movies, games, it's all within 3 miles of campus. Caveat - I am an adult student, so what i would consider fun, my younger classmates may consider totally outdated!

It is hard for me to stick around campus because I also have a job, but I do know that there are weekly activities that happen on campus.

Join sports or clubs. This is the best way to find your niche and make friends and acquaintances for the rest of your life. Social and career networks are almost more important than you degree itself. If you are not into sports or clubs than I suggest living in the dorms for 2 years to make friends.

School ran activities, parties that my friends tell me about. But really I just love to draw at the park or walk around downtown with my friends. Oh yeah, and shop.
