    Join sports or clubs. This is the best way to find your niche and make friends and acquaintances for the rest of your life. Social and career networks are almost more important than you degree itself. If you are not into sports or clubs than I suggest living in the dorms for 2 years to make friends.

    It's Chicago! There's SO many activities to do. Millennium park, Shedd Aquarium, the museums! Simply walking down Michigan Avenue or by the lake.You will never be bored.

    Walk along the Lakefront, go shopping down State street, visit The Bean, go to Navy Pier and see a Shakespeare play, take a river boat ride, talk to homeless people, do a service project, go to Ronald McDonald House Charities and make meals for people, and the list goes on
