If you live in-state, it's really cheap. If you get involved on campus and work hard, you'll get a lot for the little money you have to pay.

Being a state school, in-state tuition is reasonable and you definitely get as good, if not better, education for the money than bigger named schools. Exceptional room and board, and small school feel leaves the student feeling she matters and the school cares.

It's difficult to get a job on campus. There aren't many opportunities around town because it's a small area, so job hunting can be very frustrating. If you are able to get a job on campus, the pay isn't anything extraordinary. It would be wise to save up your money over the summer so you have some cash to use for food and school supplies during the semester.

Like mentioned earlier, Rowan is a New Jersey State school, populated by primarily New Jersey Residents. If you are a New Jersey native then Rowan gives a lot of Bang for the buck. Tuition, room and board, and supplies are all manageable. The opportunities are endless, and you can always find some way to get involved.

Rowan is pretty cheap, in comparison to larger schools. Personally, it was a lot to pay for me to live on campus, and I'm currently deciding if I would like to commute next semester. Like I said, there are a lot of events on campus, most that are free (are included in tuition) so that adds a little incentive. Overall, it is not breaking the bank to go to Rowan University, and it is a great experience as well.
