Categories Comments Will enjoy being here I may miss being home because as a high school student you don't have as much responsibilities. I predict that my first few months would be kinda hectic considering that fact that I'm transferring from a high school student to a college student..having that kinda responsibilities can get a little overwhelming.
Will learn a lot From what I've researched..Rush University has a great student to teacher ratio. I feel like Rush will offer me the Education and experience I need to be the best Nurse Anesthetist I can possibly be :)

Categories Comments Campus Safety It is not entirely safe. Campus security has attempted to add more security cameras, but they no longer provide pt A to Pt B service (within a 3 mile radius) to individual who have to walk alone.
What to do for fun Student affairs tries their best to foster fun activities, but since most are commuters. Participation and time convenience are another matter.
Food and Dining It is very expensive and lacks quality or variety.
Dorm Life Dorm Life is not an option. Residential apartments within walking distance are made available, but costs are higher. Thus, for financial reasons it is better to research other local housing or commute.
Academic Rigor Although the program is fairly new the staff do try to work towards high standards for all in the program.
Tips for prospective students 1. Plan ahead for financial aid if you are applying for fields other than medicine and nursing because the assistance is very limited and the education and commitment are very costly. 2. Make a program of study road map that is signed by your program director before starting class. Thus you will avoid prolonging your term if variations are applied thereafter. 3. Research and compare other institutions that offer similar programs. Go physically to the site and meet with students currently in the program. Ask the same questions to each program director and compare which response suits your needs. 4. Check whether the program offers prospective internships that will lead you to employment while in the programs. This ensures no gap from educational to employment. 5. Will the loan amount outweigh your 5 year salary? By how much? If greater than $10,000, please reconsider other options rather than losing sleep and peace because of the accruing debt.
In three sentences Rush University provides a great learning environment that is conducive to moving ahead in your career. However the financial options are minimal regardless whether parents do or do not submit their financial information. Rush excellent staff and students are diverse in their ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and occupational or education histories.

Food and Dining Taylor Street period.
Dorm Life I live in a apartment about a couple blocks from the university. Everything is nearby, from Costco to the local GNC to the CVS around the corner.
Academic Rigor School is tough and fast paced but not impossible. Have your day planned out with balance between your personal life and school work and you'll manage well.
Tips for prospective students My tips for new students would be to take advantage of EVERYTHING. Enroll in clubs and volunteer to as many places as you can. You are truly in the heart of one of the greatest cities of America. It would be a shame not to take advantage of such an amazing opportunity.
In three sentences Rush University is a multi-cultural and diverse university. Encompassing students from around the world, it is truly one of the best facilities in the Midwest with state-of-the-art technology. Due to its exuberant location, there is ALWAYS exciting new stuff to do around campus.
