Around Town

Campus is filled with beautiful natural outdoor life to enjoy. Downtown offers nightlife with vary of bars and clubs. Gyms are equipped with many vary activities.

There are more than 200 organizations to join, which is probably where you might find your friends and future dates. Rutgers has events every week and even has a few bands come perform. It's a wet campus with lots of parties and drinking at parties and in the dorms.

There's always something you can do because Rutgers is located in downtown New Brunswick. There are always parties on weekends and places to go out and eat. On Livingston campus there is also the movie theater and new stores being built.

Go out every night that you can. There are always parties, go to them. Two dollar tuesdays are the best.

There is so much you can do, catch a game, go out to eat, watch a movie etc. Rutgers has it all.

Go to sports events. Various departments and clubs are always holding events. Try something new or obscure (like dropping in on an Asian Culture Expo in the student center). Some good places to eat and go out on George Street. The State theater is right in town too.

Hang out with friends. Not much to do in the city of New Brunswick without a car.

School clubs, the music clubs in New Brunswick, working out/exercising, and different events like dances, lectures about special topics, coffee houses, etc., and different venues and places around New Brunswick.

Rutgers is huge with so many students with an incredible variety of interests. There is an art museum, plays to go see (Cabaret Theatre), a new movie theatre on Livingston Campus, or just hanging out with friends. There is always something to do on campus.
