Rutgers doesn't have the traditional campus feel and is more of an urban campus. College life isn't too crazy here and can be boring at times. Some professors are absolutely wonderful here and you learn so much from them.

One of the most diverse, interesting universities. You definitely do get a 'home' feeling being on campus. I do not regret it at all choosing Rutgers-Newark.

Rutgers University is definitely the biggest bang for your buck. It is a reputable school and is cheap as compared to schools in the area. The benefit of the Newark campus as oppose to the other ones is, its much smaller, therefore, you do not feel lost.

Rutgers University is a great school and offers various opportunities for its students. It is a small and nurturing campus full of excellent and caring professors and diverse students. It is the most diverse campus in America according to U.S. News and students are not a number here, but a person; professors actually know your name!

Rutgers Newark provides a unique and diverse campus atmosphere, with a wide variety of individuals. The classes are interesting, and a majority of the professors are highly knowledgable and helpful. The campus itself is very safe, the surrounding areas, however, are quite dangerous.

Transferring here was the best decision I have ever made; everyone welcomes you and it starts to feel like home. The classroom is more one-on-one with professors, so you're not just a number in the crowd. The atmosphere is overall invigorating: being in this diverse campus opens your eyes to so many different ideas and people.
