The food here is definitely a step up from what I personally was served in high school. Comparing this school to other schools dining I believe that the food that is served will top any other institution that has low prices like SIUE does. The food may not be perfect everyday, but there are multiple options everyday.

The down stairs cafeteria is full of restaurants for students. There are even coffee shops for students to get that boost of energy they need in the morning.

SIUE has a wide variety of food from your traditional hamburger to Mexican cuisine. SIUE hosts special events such as Taste Around the World where students can enjoy different food from other students culture.

I feel like SIUE has some amazing dining options. Not saying they don't get old, but they are good. We have a Chick-fil-a, Pizza Hut, MiCocina, Starbucks, Auntie Annes, and more. These are very convenient and quick grabs so you will find yourself going to them often.

Good in the beginning, but options on campus are limited, and choices get old.

There are endless opportunities in the dining hall. There are options for just about every kind of diet there is, from healthy, to fast food, we've got it!

The food that is offered on campus is a high variety and good quality. There are choices from Asian and Italian to Pizza Hut and Mexican. Although, I will say, for commuters, the food is highly priced so that definitely turns me away from eating on campus.

The presence of Greek life here on campus is known, however, the absence of Greek housing on campus really takes away from it. At this time there are six Fraternities and soon to be four Sororities.

There are only a few Greek lifes that you can join as a freshmen, so if you really want to join but aren't sure - wait! Also, SIUE doesn't have Greek housing so you would still be in the dorms (if that matters to you).

SIUE has a growing Greek life. Our Greek life offers a brother or sisterhood that will change your life forever. While the Greek life is very oriented in keeping their GPA's, they also enjoy having their fun. Our Greek life is much more of a family!

I am apart of Greek Life myself! There are about 30 different fraternities and sororities on campus. I am apart of Delta Lambda Phi, which is currently the only Greek organization on campus specific to gay, bisexual, transgender and progressively straight men and the positive alliance and change they can make towards their community.

The greek life might be small, but they recently added 2 fraternities in the last year and are about to add a sorority in the next year. Going greek is an amazing way to meet some great friends with also being held to a higher standard for grades.
