Food is pretty good because SIUE gives you varieties from Mexican, Asian, and American. Too bad some area in the dining area are closed by 6pm. Be ready to have some backup food in your room.

The Morris University Center and the Skywalk Cafe are the two places on campus where food is available. You have a variety of food options and might I add all the food is delicious.

1.The Morris University Center Cafeteria - This places is ok, but it is a little on the pricy side for what you get. I think if you put money on your cougar card, you will get a 10% discount. 2.Taco place- We have this little Taco place in the MUC that services quality mexican food at Taco bell prices. I recommend this place if you are on a budget. 3.Pizza Hut- We have small Pizza Hut in the MUC that

We have a Starbucks, Auntie Anne's, Pizza Hut, Mi Cocina and the University Restaurant better known as Fixin's. There is also a place to get burgers, sandwiches/paninies, chinese food andhomemade food. My biggest issue with the dining hall is the fact that they close so early. The only place that stays open late is Pizza Hut and you get tired of that very quickly.

I see comments saying greek life is non existent all the time but this is totally false. I myself am not greek but have a lot of friends that are and let me tell you the greek life here is very active and actually really fun! You aren't going to get hazed like many other schools and another thing is that I don't really see the greeks here participate in community events much but they sure know how to have fun and be involved with the school and make school events a lot better.

The presence of Greek life here on campus is known, however, the absence of Greek housing on campus really takes away from it. At this time there are six Fraternities and soon to be four Sororities.

There are only a few Greek lifes that you can join as a freshmen, so if you really want to join but aren't sure - wait! Also, SIUE doesn't have Greek housing so you would still be in the dorms (if that matters to you).

SIUE has a growing Greek life. Our Greek life offers a brother or sisterhood that will change your life forever. While the Greek life is very oriented in keeping their GPA's, they also enjoy having their fun. Our Greek life is much more of a family!
