    The University Bookstore can be high, so if students want SIUE attire I suggest going to the local Wal Mart. And when it comes to food, the student should get the combo meal because you get your money's worth.

    People think that scholarships aren't going to amount to anything when looking at the overall cost of college, but they do. Scholarships are huge, especially if you aren't receiving anything from the school itself.

    SIUE is one of the most inexpensive, if not the most inexpensive, public university in Illinois, and you still get a good education. Books are rented, therefore they are alot less expensive than having to purchase them yourself. Many events on campus cost very little, if anything, which is also nice.
