Some professors are not very clear in their teaching methods, or they rush through the notes and just tell you to go online to get what you've missed. Some faculty make you take classes you aren't ready for or don't want to take.

SUNY Plattsburgh is a great college to become your true self. If you get out in the campus community, you will greatly benefit. The student body is vastly diverse, which is great for personal growth.

It may be small and It may be far from your hometown, but the students and faculty at Plattsburgh State help you feel right at home. The professors are kind, and always available. The residence halls are well kept and the custodial staff is more than pleasant. It may get a little lonely, but there is always something to do on campus. Picky eater? No problem, because there are plenty of options on/off campus for you. Overall a great school and atmosphere. Small School, Big Impact.

The professors know the material that they are teaching and are able to lend help when needed. I like that they are always willing and enjoy the have their students stop by their office hours. I love the programs that the various clubs and organizations put on.

The campus is a great size, it's large enough to explore and have fun, yet small enough to get to classes in a timely manner. The professors seem very dedicated to their professions. The school itself seems clean, organized, and friendly.

Though Plattsburgh is a small school I am happy I chose to go here. The school is small enough that you know everyone and people are incredibly friendly. The smaller environment also helps in terms of degree programs, because you are able to get to know your professors as well as department on a more personal level.

SUNY Plattsburgh has a lot to offer perspective students. Not only is Plattsburgh located in a great city but it is also only a short drive from Canada; not to mention a quick fairy ride to Vermont. Overall the campus atmosphere is wonderful, the faculty/staff is friendly and inviting.
