There are several student activities and alumni activities available, but you do have to reach out to participate. You can do most of your studies online if you choose, therefore, you can remain connected to your current living/social situation.

There are many conferences that take place at the college which you can both attend and be a part of.

Syracuse, Saratoga Springs and Utica offer many exciting things to be done throughout the day and night.

As an online student you are given many options to still engage in on campus activities, or with your fellow students. Take advantage of what you can.

There are plenty of options at the University Campus in Saratoga if you live in Upstate NY which I do. But, even if you do not live near Saratoga there are plenty of meetings throughout New York and even webinars.
