If you're interested in a social life, you can find it here; just don't expect it to be a bright area. Many people find the University to be depressing due to the amount of rain it receives weekly.

Binghamton is a beautiful campus with a bunch of places to socialize and relax. The nature preserve is gorgeous and is perfect for walking and hiking. The surrounding town is focused around the college, with restaurants, stores, and places for fun like skating rinks, a movie theater (with a student discount) and a mall, all on a bus line from campus. Your ID card gets you on the bus free of charge, and so long as you know the schedule, having a car is practically optional. The campus is such a melting pot too! In addition to being ethnically diverse, there is a million different things to do every day and B-line always lets you know whats going on around campus.

I love everything about the school more and more each day that I am there. I got involved in everything, but not the things I thought I would do. Binghamton is the perfect mixture of fun and learning. You get the intense education, but at the same time, there's always time to meet up with friends and have fun!
