Around Town

Since it's been cold almost my entire freshman year for fun I chill with friends in my dorm, watch movies, sometimes go downtown to eat, get a tattoo or walk around and see places downtown. There is also a shuttle bus that will take you to the malls around here as well.

Join a club, make friends on campus, get to know your department that you're majoring. For example, I am on a first name basis with the Political Science department and I can always go to the faculty of the department for advice.

There are countless groups and organizations. The residential halls also usually have some type of program going on.

Awesome collge town, tons to do all year.

Downtown salem is only a walk down the street with plenty of sights, attractions, restaurants, and the like. The beach is also a few blocks away.

Salem is known for Halloween, and October is the busiest time of year here. There are great costume parties all around the area that I would highly reccommenf. Even walking downtown is a sight to see!

well there are a lot of places around salem you could go and the campus is not too far from downtown

Downtown is always hopping.

Many events available and good opportunities to meet or join an e-board as well to better communicate and create your own events.

For fun at SSU we walk around campus and we also party.
