Around Town

Ocean City is 30 minutes away. If you ever get bored there is tons to do down there. Many people live off campus so having fun is never too far. On campus activities like movie nights and comedy shows are going on ALL the time.

Being an outdoorsman in Salisbury has been hard. The surrounding area is completely flat which has made it impossible to mountain bike, hike, etc. On the other hand, Salisbury is just thirty minutes away from Ocean City and the beautiful, Assateague Island.

Join a sorority or a club!

The Mall is only 10 mins away and the beach is 30 mins away.

Typical college stuff

Join Greek life/sport/club anything to keep you occupied during the week. Weekends are always a good time here.

Besides hanging out in your dorm with friends, there are basketball, volleyball, football, intramural games which are fun to watch. You can take walks around campus because there is a nice scenery. Working out in the Maags center is fun for some people. Also, the beach is only 30 minutes away, so some people like to drive down there for the day.

There is a mall about 15 minutes up on Route 13. There are restaurants everywhere, a bowling alley down the road, and a movie theater at the mall. There is a gym on campus and a nicer gym right across the street run through the school as well. Plenty to do. There are always parties on the weekends but be careful because the cops have really cracked down.
