» Read MoreNOTHING ON THE WEEKENDS UNLESS YOU GO TO PROVIDENCE. The only school sponsored events are on Thursdays and Fridays. A lot of the students, being RI residents, go home on the weekends making it quiet and boring. Newport, is great during the summer, but everything closes early at night and close to everything shuts down after tourist season (May- October).

» Read MoreBeing in Newport there are always plenty of things for students to do. Newport is a tourist town so there are always fairs and activities going on in town. Also, on campus there are activities every other Thursday as well as Friday nights and Saturday nights. These activities range from outdoor movies to free food to arts and crafts and even dances. There are also discounted trips that Salve offers in which students are allowed to buy tickets for.

I also volunteer frequently, use the gym, go for walks on the Cliff Walk, and attend the movie nights & event nights.
