The councilors are all very educated and helpful with leading and helping you plan your out your college courses to get you toward your desired degree. I am in the nursing program at Sam and although it is new and still trying to work out the kinks, the staff is very helpful and encouraging to the students and work well to help you achieve your dreams. Overall it is a nice campus, easy to facilitate, everything is in close proximity is a relatively safe and comfortable area to live in and attend school.

Sam has an amazing program with professors and tutors ready to help you. If you have questions or just need to talk to someone, there are facilities all over campus for your use. I love Sam because everyone makes you feel welcome, and the criminal justice program is outstanding.

Sam Houston State University is a very welcoming and fun filled campus. Since being here I have enjoyed all the facilities and amenities offered for being a student. Even better the professor to student ratio is 3:1 and they really work hard to help the best way they can.
