Around Town

Although there are not that many clubs, you can try to join them if they interest you. There is a paralegal club, science club, and Phi Theta Kappa to list a few. Sometimes there are events to attend to that the college will post on the main website. You can also hang out with friends, but other than that, there is not much to do around campus.

Go to the athletic events.

when i was there for a meeting they were having a costume contest for Halloween, and i know what your thinking, probably a bunch of inappropriate girls dressing up, but it wasn't it was a bunch of funny costumes and what not, and they had food stands looked like high school all over again, so a definite plus plus.

Go watch a soccer game.

Take a walk around the campus, and just hang out near the buildings.

The Movie theater is with in walking distance.

There sport center is amazing.

There are a lot of great food places in walking distance. A new library will be opening very soon and there is a great gym on-campus.

Go to the ILC which is in the I building to use the computers. The internet is fast! Don't forget to bring headphones.

Though only a community college, Miramar, along with the other colleges in the San Diego Community College District, has a gymnasium, swimming pool, weight room, and many more recreational resources.
