Categories Comments Great for these types of students for those who know exactly what they want to study! Those who are smart, and/or extremely motivated to get their degree.
Tips for prospective students Raise your GPA, do well on your SAT/ACT, and find out what you want to study soon!
Bang for the buck There's a freshman scholars program if you have a weighted cumulative gpa (on A-G requirements) of 3.7 or higher you could get a partial ride scholarship! Also the upper division classes are offered, and they have an excellent articulation agreement with IVC or other community colleges. here's a brochure: http://www.ivcampus.sdsu.edu/Information/hot_topics/Freshman_Brochure.pdf
Will enjoy being here it's a small, but pretty campus, classes are close by and the region of Calexico, has some good mexican food restaurants.
Academic Rigor This school is a 4 year university that offers a lot of majors but specializes in these majors: Criminal Justice, Liberal Studies, and Psychology. Offers upper-division courses for anyone having a 3.2+ GPA

Categories Comments Campus Safety I don't always feel safe on campus. There is only one guard on duty at a time. The parking lot is always dark and scary.
Greek Life There is no greek life at SDSU-IVC.
Clubs and Activities There are a few groups on campus that I have heard of since I began attending this schoool. There is a psychology club and a ASG club on campus.
Great for these types of students SDSU-IVC is good for students with families or people who have restricted money resources.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus There is an small art gallery in the middle of the campus but most of the time it is empty or closed.
Bang for the buck At SDSU-IVC your money does not really go far. Tuition is overpriced and there is no real social life on campus.
What to do for fun For fun you could go bike riding or go for a jog out in the fields.
Food and Dining Food and dining on and off campus is poor. very minimal varieties and no student discounts available.
Dorm Life There is no dorm life. No dorms available in this satellite campus.
Academic Rigor SDSU-IV is academically strict.
Tips for prospective students SDSU-IVC is for students who really want to learn. Have a positive mind set as you begin the semester.
In three sentences SDSU-IVC is meant for vocational students. I relieved community college all over again. Same people, same atmosphere.
