Around Town

There is so much to do at SDSU on and off campus. On campus, there is the arc (aka the gym) and aquaplex (aka the pool). A lot of people love to stay physically fit and active, and with the weather being so nice, who wouldn't want to lay out at the pool? If you're wanting to get away from campus for awhile however, you still have some great options. There are malls down the 8 freeway in both directions. As you head coastal, there is Pacific Beach and Mission Beach which have a lot of cute stores, dining places, and bars.

Greek life. Downtown and Pb if your over 21

Talk with your classmates, go to the local eateries around the campus, or attend SDSU games.

Get to know as many students as possible because you never know who is able to attend amazing basketball and football games.

At SDSU there is never a slow moment. From attending concerts and games on campus and visiting San Diego beaches and amusement parks. Students are always busy with games, carnivals, and free movie screenings on and off campus.

There are many athletic programs. Lots of social get-togethers.

Join orgs and travel via trolley to the coolest destinations in San Diego. The nearest mall is 20 min by trolley and 10 min by car. You can also visit the San Diego Zoo and Sea World.

The best thing about going to SDSU is the fact that you (obviously) live in San Diego! There are so many fun things to do in San Diego and the SD Trolley can take you almost anywhere you want. Fashion Valley is close to campus with shopping, food, and movie theaters. Sea World and the San Diego Zoo is always fun to visit. Downtown San Diego also offers fun options for more food and shopping. Petco Park for the San Diego Padres baseball team is also located in Downtown. And there are many close/nice beaches close to SDSU. Take a day and explore San Diego! There are many fun activities to do in the city!

I party, I dance, sometimes if I can't sleep I will take a brief walk around campus at 2 in the morning. Even though I hate running the gym is fun too, especially the rock climbing wall.

Go to the beach, go downtown, go to Old Town...there is sooo much to do in San Diego!
