Around Town

You can go into the city and enjoy some really good Thai food at Basil Thai, enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge, visit Alcatraz or Twin Peaks. There is never a dull moment in San Francisco.

Where to begin! For fun you have the option of going downtown into the city, going to the beach, the piers, many different beautiful parks, golden gate, and so much more. San Francisco is comprised of many different districts that are each unique so I enjoy exploring. Also, public transportation is easy and safe so its very easy to get around.

SFSU has student centers with food courts and arcades. Many clubs host countless events to attend. The residencies plan events for students to attend and interact with fellow students.

Enjoy going out to the city. Hang out in Dolores park in the Mission, or take a walk on the beach on Ocean Beach.

definitely take advantage of the city you are currently living and studying in, because once you're done and leave you will miss the convenience of being able to head downtown or visit the beautiful parks on sunny days.

What isn't there to do for fun in San Francisco? One of the best things about this city is there is always something to do. You can take the subway and visit some other friends that attend surrounding colleges or travel downtown and shop to you drop. If you're in the mood for sightseeing the Golden Gate Bridge is always a great place to go. You will never be bored in a city that never sleeps.

GET INVOLVED!!! The school has a lot of student clubs and organizations to get involved with. If other SFSU students tell you they are unsatisfied, it's because they haven't gotten involved with campus life.

GO IN THE CITY there is an endless supply of fun and free and really unique things going on all the time! Just subscribe to Do 415 or Johnny Funcheap emails and you'll know what's going on all the time :)

Hangout in the city as much as you can! Free events are always fun!

For fun my friends and I go to campus events such as some parties, or some dances hosted by students of the school. We go shopping or to the arcade-like-place located inside of the school in the student center. Or play a few rounds of pool or go to open mic nights in the student center.
