Around Town

The beach isn't too far. Santa Monica pier is down the street. Dance shows at the Eli & Edyth Broad Stage are twice a semester.

Attend conferences, join a club or organisation. it is a great way to meet new people and to network.

Santa Monica College has clubs that anyone can join, which are entertaining and look great on transcripts.

ENJOY THE SUNSHINE (usually)

beach is a few block away, third street promenade is even closer. It is definitely at a great location, however there is rarely a chance to enjoy those great things because of the lack of social life.

The question should actually be, What ISNT for fun? because everywhere you go is fun. You have the beach less than a mile away, you have the mall, many parks, etc.. People will love it.

Santa Monica College is very close to the beach and Santa Monica Pier! Take the big blue bus all the way down heading west on Pico, (or drive) and you're there! The Promenade is also close by if you're bored.

Since the beach is only a mile away, you can go to the Santa Monica pier and 3rd street Promande for shopping. Venice Beach is 3 miles away and the broad walk is very intertaining and will see various of things that the people there do. A very awesome experience.

The beach is really close! Dowtown Santa Monica, Venice, and dowtown LA is nearby as well. Grab a friend and begin exploring!

There are many clubs on and off campus, but the main activity to do for fun at Santa Monica is relax at the beach. Since the beach is so close it's pretty hard to say no to an invitation.
