Campus Life

There aren't too many places to eat at Santa Monica College, but the places that they have are okay. The cafeteria has great food, a little too overpriced for me, though.

They have good food, but not enough vegan options.

There is one cafeteria on campus that majority of students go to. There's a small market there, cafes, pizza, etc.

Good selection in the caf. Not the largest, but you won't get tried very fast.

There is not a lot of options and it is quite expensive, however the options that they do have taste great.

You have every restaurant you can think of in your surroundings. If you're in the mood for some Indian food or Mexican food or Italian, American, anything; is everywhere.

The main campus now has food trucks across the street. There is also a Subway, Burger King, and Pizzaria across as well. The cafeteria food is ok, but slightly expensive. At the AET campus (for entertainment design) there are food trucks along the side of the campus.

I would say that Tender Greens, Wolf Gang Polk, and Bucca De Bepu are three great restaurants at the promenade. There are also several restaurants near the beach that are very good and also the dining at the pier is really good as well.

There any many restaurants around the school. You just got to look for them and see what you want. The school kitchen is pretty standard in terms of what you can buy.

The food is great, but, to be honest, it is hard to find time to eat with all the running around you'll have to do. On the bright side, there are many convenient stores and fast-food places around each campus, for those of you who will be trying to save your money.

There is no greek life at SMC, but the clubs and SMC community makes it easy to find your group of people.
