Around Town

The freshman dorms are in the heart of downtown Savannah, so there are tons of things to do in walking distance! Broughton Street and River Street are full of amazing restaurants and higher and lower end stores.

Homework, hang with friends and partake in anything that if free around the city.

Lots to do if you can get there. Art galleries, parks, theatres, poetry slams. No real movie theatre in town.

SCAD Atlanta is located in the midst of the arts center in Atlanta, Georgia. There are a ton of museums and attractions to visit, along with several different parks. Most shopping areas and restaurants are within walking distance, so exploring the city is a definite plus.

The Atlanta Campus provides a local, convenient location to everything that you can reach in the city. The city is bursting with anything you can imagine or wish to do, as long as you're safe about it. Night life is available almost every week.

A couple of things to do for fun besides exploring the city with your friends, is to join clubs or make your own club. Have movie nights with a bunch of friends or go out to city market.

There are a lot of activities! Events from SCAD or Savannah. Also, Broughton St, Bay St, and River St are fun to hang out on

Tons of day trips. Go to Tybee or go on a tour of the historic sites.

What I do for fun is hang out with my friends by walking into town or if we have a car we go explore the city more. Sometimes the school sponsors or host events and gets the students involved with the school more.

Well, there's a beach about 30 minutes away and for pete's sake it's in down town Savannah. Everything is practically in walking distance so there's plenty to do.
