What Students Are Saying

Don't be afraid to ask questions. You will truly be amazed of how many new people and friends you will meet here at Schreiner. Be prepared to get the ball rolling once you start classes. Also just be yourself no one knows you so you don't have to act like someone else.
Virginia from Brenham, TX
Be able to do your own work at your own time. It's a competition out there even if they don't say it. Study as much as you can. Don't delay it because you will end up with a low GPA. Don't be surprise not achieving an A because for some class you are lucky to get a C!
MKerrville, TX
If you are looking at SU, consider yourself as a person. Do you enjoy one on one attention? Do you enjoy being a part of a group? If you want to receive an education that will really take you places then SU is perfect for you. It's small enough to have personalized attention, yet large enough to have the college experience, with it's sports teams, and it's academia.
Cimonnett from San Marcos, TX
Apply and register early, class sizes are small so therefore limited in how many they can take.
Pearl from San Antonio, TX
If you think you could highly benefit from having better contact with your professors and you don't mind having the small town and school thing, this is the place for you. If you don't want to go to the professor for help in course work, there's other options for you also.
Jennifer from San Antonio, TX
work hard, but still have fun. get to know your professors, because it helps! get involved, it makes things go a lot quicker, and it helps you enjoy your college experience.
Rheya from Cypress, TX
