Around Town

Walk to Fremont or Queen Anne. Gasworks park is beautiful. Lots of intramural sports. It's useful to have a car, but not necessary.

ANYTHING. Kayak, hike, ride bikes, paddle board, go snowboarding, go to concerts, operas, movies, go to free events around Seattle, the farmers market, Pike Place, coffee shops, art walks, the Seattle Art Museum, the Seattle Central Library, and the list just goes on and on!

I like to explore Seattle and visit Fremont. Its fun to just hope on the 13, and visit downtown Seattle for some Asian food or do some shopping. Its also nice to get away from campus and just enjoy living in such a vibrant city.

You're one bus away from downtown, the 'Ave' University District, right down the street from the canal, a short walk away from Fremont... The list goes on and on!

Go to pike's place market Downtown Concerts and Shows in Seattle *Borrow a bus pass right at closing on Sat night, and you get the pass until Monday*

Lots of sun things to do in the Seattle area! Pike places, ride the duck, Pudget sound. Lots of fun!

There are always a lot of things to do in school from doing community service, to attending games, to being part of games, and going to Group and having prayer. Also being in Queen Anne is fun, because you take one bus and you are in Downtown and there are a lot of stuff you can do at Downtown, from going out to eat, going to Pike Place Market, going on the new wheel, going to the club etc.

We're in the heart of Seattle here at SPU. Downtown Seattle is just a few minutes away. Or, take a short trip up to Queen Anne for the boutiques, restaurants, movie store, shopping, and entertainment. SPU has campus events nearly every night, including private movie showings, chapels, dorm events, and sports games.

Go explore Seattle! Seattle is such a big city with many different parts. Taking walks up into Queen Anne or Fremont is one of my favorite things to do.
