Around Town

There is a couple disk golf courses in town, student engagement is starting to come around with a new campus activities director. Siena is definitely on the upside of a growing university.

There's always something to do on campus between sports and the different student organizations you can't go wrong. Off campus there's the movies and going out to eat, plus Adrian College is around the corner and there is always something going on there as well.

Play sports with others. Since 95% of the students there play sports it is easy to interact with others that way.

I can go workout and I play football so I am already pretty occupied. I can go hangout with my friends. We either go out to eat or go to a friends dorm and just hangout.

GO OUT! make a lot of friends and go to the movies, go bowling, go to the club. There really isn't that much to do in Adrian, but it makes it even worse when you don't even have someone to be bored with. Go to parties, some will be horrible and some will be the best parties you've ever gone to, Siena isn't a party school, but there's another one right around the corner that is. Also your RA might be having fun events for your hall so keep an eye out for those too.

Create study groups, be active in your cohort

Beach volleyball, attending athletic games, going to theater shows.

There is ALWAYS fun at SHU! Whether its a random movie night or an exciting sporting event, there is ALWAYS something to do at Siena. Most students begin missing theses fun activities the first week of summer. You meet tons of people, get TONS of free food and t-shirts, and do many things out of the ordinary.

There are plenty of school activities to attend during the week and generally a free t-shirt or food is available. Many of the students go and have fun bonding with each other. You are almost always able to go see a sporting event. There is a game room if you enjoy ping pong, air hockey, or pool. You are able to go to the field house and work out or play basketball with friends.

The town of Adrian is very small, but in town we have local restaurants and skate rink. We are close to Adrian College that is always putting on events. Our director of Student Activities always have stuff planned on campus for the students to take part in such as; bowling trips, movie nights, Dj's, comedians. We are also very close to two major cities, Ann Arbor and Toledo (30-40 minutes).
