Rock climbing, hiking, various sport events, kayaking and water adventures at the nearby lake, Mount Shasta and Lassen are only an hour away. Snowboarding, skiing, sledding.

There are many things to do for fun. For example, climb the rock wall! :) Or go running at the trail nearby! There are also a gym near by as well as a weight/work out room on campus! There's also a bonfire camp right in the middle of campus for approved bonfires for events. There are many annual events held on campus that are a ton of fun to go to!

Simpson offers intramural sports such as indoor soccer, basketball, and volleyball, we have special events throughout the year that sometimes involve the community in Redding, and school sporting events are full of energy and cheering fans. We are only a few minutes away from the Sundial Bridge, the $2 movie theater, bowling, WaterWorks water park, the Shasta Mall, and (farther away) the Shasta Caverns, Whiskeytown Lake, and Burney Falls hiking trails. For fun, many of my friends gather at Dairy Queen for ice cream and board games (open til midnight).

They offers plenty of group activities on campus. They are great at providing alternative activities to help the student get relief from their daily studies.
